Fabulous Steampunk Art

Recently Anja from Belgium emailed me this phenomenal piece of digital artwork!!

This would make a wonderful poster, but it's actually a creative resume that she was assigned for her exam!! How cool is that?!! If I were looking for an employee, I would hire her on the spot! Anja used the Steampunk Binoculars lady image and the Globe graphic for this creative work.

French Glitter Pails

And the Paris Vinegar Label for this one. She used Mod Podge to apply the paper labels and then glittered them up! These would be great for storage, as Donna points out on her site, but I think they would also make great gift baskets! The vinegar one could be filled with all sorts of gourmet goodies and the cologne pail could be filled with bath and body supplies.

Beautiful Wedding Gift - Guest Tree

A reader named Mariƫlle, from the Netherlands, emailed me a photo of this wonderful Guest Tree from her Wedding!

They used a plain canvas and transferred the Old spooky tree image (although it certainly doesn't look spooky here!) onto it. Each guest placed their finger print somewhere on the tree, using archival ink, and then wrote their name in.

I think this is such a wonderful idea and something she and her husband will enjoy for the rest of their lives!

Make Your Own Decorative Tape - Printable

This is a printable that I made about a year ago. I'm gradually referencing my own projects here, as well my readers, in order to try to keep things a bit more organized, and make it easier to find stuff! Anyway, you've probably seen those rolls of pretty decorative tape that you can buy now, but I thought it would be fun to make my own!

Click Here to get the Printable PDF File.

These are the designs that I came up with, in bold bright pink and chartreuse and chocolate brown! All I really did was print this out on clear printable label sheets and then I cut them with my paper cutter. You can find the complete Tutorial HERE, along with the supplies that I used, or rather... supply that I used! I think I have another one of these floating around that I never got around to sharing, I'll try to dig it out and post it soon. These would be nice to use for Mother's Day cards!
