Five Hand Picked Fonts for Fall

Selecting the right font for your craft projects is so important.  That's why we're super-excited that The Graphics Fairy Crafts blog will be sharing five fonts each month to help inspire you.  Each set of five fonts will represent a specific theme or season.

For November, Graphics Fairy Crafts is featuring a set of Sophisticated Fonts for Fall.  These were chosen specifically to coordinate with your fall projects and would incorporate beautifully in to banners, place cards, and holiday menus.

Here are the five picks for November!   To download a font, click on the hyperlinked words below each font example. The link will take you to a site that offers a free download of the font.*

The four images used in this post compliment the November font picks, and will be wonderful for this month's craft projects too.  You can find them all on The Graphics Fairy blog.  Here are the links to the high resolution files for the owl, wheat, round apothecary label, and turkey used in this post.

Enjoy and please leave a comment if you make something with one of the fonts or images.  I'd love to see what you make!

*A note about downloading, installing & using fonts:  There are a lot of sites out there that offer free fonts.  Some are set up mostly to display ads, and others take you to suspicious files & links.  While we don't recommend one free font website over another, we have tried to link to the more straightforward sites to make finding the font easier for you.  Don't forget to follow the site's specific directions to download and install the font.  If you are a crafter and will be selling your work, please be sure to read any files or information that comes with the font.  Some fonts have restrictions on the commercial use of a font for mass production quantities and on the sharing / redistribution of the font file itself.

  2. Beautiful fonts! :)
I always enjoy using different fonts - the problem is, when there are so many choices, that I can't decide, and I spend too much time choosing what to use. :)
But it's a nice way that you've put them up - one could perhaps start by ONLY using the ones you've posted, when fonts are needed. :D

  5. I love Modern No. 20! I'm kind of a "font nerd" and I think those are great :)

    1. Modern No. 20 is one of my all time favs too! I actually originally used it on a project for the numbers, but then started using it for a bunch of things. I've seen some similar ones, but they're super expensive. Gotta love free fonts!

  6. I loaded Afternoon Delight on my page and that's when all the trouble started. They downloaded lots of things on my computer making it almost impossible to get control of again. I had my husband clear it all out but it took him around half an hour. Just thought you'd want to check it out. Thanks!

  7. Oh my gosh! Thanks for letting me know Sue! I've changed the link to another website. I'm so glad your husband fixed it for you!
