Hi, it's Emily again for Graphics Fairy Crafts. I found some really cute mini envelopes at the craft store last week. They were $3.99 {before coupon} for a set of 20 envelopes, how much fun is that? This week, I needed some cards for my fancier gifts, and decided to pull them out and make some quick cards using a few of Karen's images.
First off, gather your supplies. I used 65lb. card stock, mini kraft envelopes {3.25" x 3.25"}, and scissors. A bone folder is helpful, but optional.

I made this template in my graphics program. It's optional, but helpful, and can be made in really any program, including Microsoft Word. It's an 8.5" x 11" document with three boxes that are 6" wide by 3" tall ---- perfect for 3" x 3" cards ---- and I can use it over and over again.

Next, design your cards, utilizing the 3" x 3" area on the right side of each card. Layer graphics and wording. I used Karen's French wreath, her lovely deer, and pretty angels. I used two fonts we recommended for your holiday crafts in this post. Lavandaria went well with the wreath, while I liked Metro Retro with the deer. Rotate your image {like I did with the angels below} if you want the fold to be at the top of the card instead of the left side. TIP: if the font you select doesn't offer the "e" with the umlaut for Noel, two periods together work well.

I printed the cards out on card stock, cut them out, and folded in half....I love quick and simple!

Here are the cards with a few of Karen's holiday images. You could also take these to the next level with glitter, ribbon, or other embellishments!

Happy Holidays!
Emily
